
About Norman Musewe MD
Dr. Musewe is an experienced and committed Pediatric Cardiologist.
He has close to forty (40) years of extensive experience in hospital and clinical settings and currently operates his own Community Pediatric Cardiology office. He has also been involved in Pediatric Resident teaching, training of fellows in the Division of Cardiology at the Hospital for Sick Children, where his main focus was Echocardiography.
Dr. Musewe is passionate about delivering quality medical care both local and globally to refugees and communities with limited access. He has extensive experience in providing voluntary care in rural and semi-rural settings across Africa. He regularly sends medical equipment as well as supplies to under-resourced health care centres.

Dr. Musewe has developed a long-term relationship with the University of Toronto's, Faculty of Medicine Diversity outreach programme and Summer Mentorship Programme where he mentored grade 10 students and now through community of support empowers undergrad and graduate students to achieve their maximum potential.

Herbie Fund
Dr. Musewe works with The Hospital for Sick Children through the Herbie Fund to provide surgery for children with congenital heart disease.
​Whilst on his volunteer medical travels, Dr. Musewe identifies suitable patients for Cardiac Surgery, assisting them through the entire process until they return home. Read more about the Herbie Fund below.
